No. Files are read with the browser's File API and processed in your device's memory. The image is never sent in a network request — you can verify that in your browser's network tab, and the tool keeps working with the network disconnected.

JPG and JPEG, PNG, and WebP can be analysed and cleaned. HEIC files can be analysed so you can see what your phone stored, but writing a cleaned HEIC is not supported yet — convert the photo to JPEG first.
